"Paths are made by walking"

In order to determine the truth of this statement, Yamashita and Kobayashi ran in a loop on a grass lawn in Switzerland for five straight days.

Photos were taken in one-second intervals and edited together to make a high speed time-lapse video.

In the video, a path shaped like an infinity loop (∞) gradually emerges in the grass.
